When I switch a video to full screen on YouTube or Netflix, the status bar disappears and I can't start / pause, etc., at the click of a mouse.
I use a Mac, what can I do about it?
Normally you can't do that with the empty | space key

The full-screen mode is there to display the video in full screen - is also called without status bar.
Yes, but I can stop advertising and that would be nice.

Hmm then go back on ESC on normal vision and skip the advertising and then go back to full screen
The question is then still which browser you use, since I assume that you call the web pages.
And ever tried to start the browser with disabled addons?
You can't skip every ad:-)
