I would like to somehow watch youtube on my normal television (without internet). I can't afford a smart tv / ps4 or whatever console to watch youtube. I would have had the idea of getting a sky receiver. However, this is also quite expensive. Maybe someone knows alternatives that are not that expensive? It would be good if netflix were included.
You can try the following things:
Streaming sticks like the Chromecast (30 euro), the Fire TV (subscription) or the Sky Ticket.
HTPCs that cost between 500-800 euro.
an Intel Compute Stick, approx. 100 euro.
Or simply connect the laptop / PC to the TV using an HDMI cable (3 euro).
But honestly: if you can't afford it, you shouldn't…
A FireTV Stick comes with a good 40 euro, as does a Chromecast.
You could connect a laptop via HDMI cable.
Do you have an HDMI connection on the TV?
If so, the "Fire TV Stick with Alexa voice control" is the top solution.
Has Wi-Fi, has 1000 apps, Alexa has voice control on board, including remote control.
All you need is an Amazon account (it's free) and the stick currently. 40 euro, sometimes also available at a promotional price of 20 euro.
