I was watching netflix and suddenly I no longer had control over my computer. The mouse made abrupt movements and the pc popped. The power off button didn't work anymore so I switched off the power supply and now do a virus scan. What else should i do?

Fr

Open your task manager and see what needs the most performance. If you don't see anything then scroll down and look for an app that you have not installed or that you do not want and do not know etc. And uninstall it. If you can't find her then tell me.

Played through the internal speaker?

How exactly?

ex

No external speakers. I don't have an internal. Unfortunately, I didn't look at the Debug Led. Constantly at equal intervals without stopping

ob

No idea what was going on, it would be best to start the PC again in "Safe Start". And then let the scan run over it.

Ag

Then it wasn't a hardware failure, and now it is running normally again?

ex

Have searched everything and googled the unknown things. The only thing I notice is that the 2 console windows are open in the task manager. When I wanted to end it, I received a message that these are necessary

ex

I started normally and did not know this function. If something happens again I put it on again. Don't have any important files on it or anything

ex

Yes!

ob

Which antivirus do you use to scan the PC?

ex

F-secure (did not find anything was a full scan)

Fr

Hmm So your mouse does things that you don't do, so to speak, right

If you have a second PC and a 16 GB USB stick I would download AVAST to the second PC. There's a Tool Names rescue medium. Insert your USB stick into your 2 PC and let the program run, afterwards the USB stick will boot (PC1) and the Avast will do its job

ex

Try it tomorrow!

ex

Yes

Fr

Dan it may be your mouse. Please connect it to another pc and drag it back and forth, etc.

ex

But then where does the beep come from?

Ma

You may have caught an extremely persistent pest. I recommend creating a Kaspersky Rescue USB boot stick. It works like this:

Download Kaspersky Rescue Disk ISO: https://support.kaspersky.com/de/viruses/krd2018

Then write the ISO to an empty formatted USB stick with Rufus https://rufus.ie/.
Boot the created stick on the affected computer and follow the instructions of the wizard. It then searches the entire system for pests and eliminates them.
When that's done, restart and remove the stick. On the Windows desktop you will find a log file where it says which malware was found and eliminated.

You have to look what a pips means. E.g. Piping twice = … Piping 3 times is = …
