According to statistics, Amazon Prime should have more users in Germany than Netflix, among other things because Germans shop very diligently at Amazon. However, I personally only meet Netflix users on the Internet and in real life.
I use Amazon Prime myself because it offers me more advantages personally and only costs around 30-40 euro a year in the end.

I haven't had that much experience with Netflix
I use Amazon Prime. Mainly I subscribed to it because of Twitch and shipping. Netflix is too expensive for me only for films and series.
Watched - everything is free and you can download it from both the app and play store
So Prime just has less choice, but quite a few nice in-house productions and gives you a lot more advantages outside of Prime video and is also much cheaper.
Netflix has more choice, very good in-house productions
I only have Prime. The free shipping on orders is of course great, but the offer from Prime also appeals to me more personally than the one from Netflix
