How can someone tell that I'm using a VPN?

For Netflix I have to switch off my VPN, then I get the message: "You seem to be using a VPN or a proxy. Switch it off and connect again". The same thing happens with Prime. Maxdome and Disney + don't care.

But this only happens when I start Netflix or Prime via the FireTV stick. If I start Netflix via the app of the Smart TV or via the PC, I can also use VPN.

Is there anything about the VPN servers that they are recognized? Then everyone could stop it and introduce country blocks again. So why is that?

Fi

Well they see if you are constantly logging in from other places.

Tu

The VPN providers rent servers to be recognized.

Ch

That happened right the first time.

Fi

You will probably see that you do not have a stable internet line and are constantly changing location

Ka

What is called VPN blockade you probably have an inferior VPN service. The good VPN providers like GhostVpn can bypass these blocks.

Ka

Or TunnelBear is good too

Ch

The VPN service is NordVPN and does not work with the FireTV stick in Netflix and Prime.
