Netflix downloads to too many devices?

I'm currently trying to download some episodes of a series on Netflix. I have a subscription with my family (4 people). However, I have now received the error message that there are downloads on too many devices, but neither I nor others in subscription members have any downloads. So I wanted to ask if anyone knows what I can do or how I can possibly solve the problem.
