I saw the last episode of Naruto on Netflix today. I skipped the filler episodes, but somehow I feel like I've missed a lot or something. So to all of you who have seen the filler episodes: which are worthwhile, for example revealing something about the past of characters, or are simply exciting. Or which are NOT worthwhile and are as bad as everyone says.
Look at it and make up your own mind
Almost all fillers follow give a little more price on the character of the people, background story, and some even get flashbacks in the main story. I recommend all of them to you and if you don't like an episode right from the start, you can switch it off. In addition, the consequences are so great because some characters die, so they get more screen time and we learn more from them.
One episode that I thought was great was with Menma. A boy with whom Naruto befriends. I think that was episode 213. There's also an episode where the team dress up as cats, but don't know which one it was
It always depends on what you mean by filler. As a rule, there are no filler sequences for me. Since they mostly serve an important purpose, because without them we would know practically nothing about Gaara, Itachi, Lee, Neji, Kiba, Tenten or Ino that they would have fought with or against the main protagonists at some point.
The only fillers that annoy me are those that only serve to summarize a season again or because the authors had no more ideas about how to bridge the time until the next manga template and therefore let the protagonists chase a cat for 5 episodes.
No matter what anime it is, some episodes would never skip, story relevant or not… It only feels complete when you watch all the episodes. (OVA's etc. Left out.)
Okay, then I'd better just look at it.
Okay, I'll just watch them now and that's it, it won't kill me.
Well, then maybe it's worth it.
Yes, I do now.
