You do not need a Prime for Netflix in the Fire tv stick
Useful would be Prime if you want the stick for Amazon Video or Amazon Music or Music Unlimitet
For Netflix you only need the Netflix subscription
No, that thing is practically a stick with stripped down Android.
You can use all the streaming apps. Netflix, Youtube Ard, Network Cinema, Dazn and whatever else you can think of download and use accordingly without a Prime Account.
Knowing which version is the latest does not know me that way
Unfortunately I do not have the big fire tv box but mine is older
