Suitable tablet with keyboard / pen for work?

Since my laptop is slowly giving up, I would like to switch to a tablet, which should be used for work (field service).

Must be my high-end stuff for 1300 euro but something stable and reliable, keyboard and pen are mostly available from Amazon for lower prices.

I use an Android mobile phone, so I don't know whether something from Apple makes sense.

Before the question comes, I need it to take notes at customer appointments, to be able to operate our program, YouTube and Netflix are rather secondary. In any case, it must be possible to use an LTE card.

If there's something clever for 300-400 euro it would be awesome, unfortunately I know my way around 0.

So even if you have an Android smartphone, I can only highly recommend the standard iPad. IPad OS is not completely different from Android. You get used to it quickly.

An iPad is simply the best tablet in terms of price and performance. The Apple Pencil is also available and a keyboard can be bought relatively cheaply from Amazon. The battery lasts forever and the iPad is very durable. Updates are forever and you can use it for 6 years.
Unfortunately, with Android tablets, I have often made the experience that the battery drains significantly after a year and the things were electronic scrap within 2 - 3 years.

And lastly, please don't buy a cheap pen on Amazon. The pen must connect to the iPad or tablet via Bluetooth. Otherwise you can't write correctly with it because you can't rest your hand on the device.

To be able to control our program

Then maybe you should name the programs that are important to your job.

Or. Limit the selection to the OS yourself.

Because it doesn't help if you want to use program XY, or even have to, but the program is not available for Android or iOS, but this is a pure Windows program.

But it should also be said that with productive hardware, 300 - 400 euro won't get you very far.

If you buy it privately, maybe ask at work if they can add something to you.

Which model do you recommend?

The standard iPad 10.2 inch (2019 model) in the Wi-Fi + Cellular Edition. The 1st generation Apple Pencil is compatible with this.

From September, however, there will probably be a new standard iPad, possibly with more standard memory.

In any case, the standard iPad (i.e. Not Air or Pro) is sufficient for your purposes.
