I ask for a friend who works on night duty as security in a shop.
The shift runs from 8.45pm to 6.15pm
His field of activity is quite simple 2-3 tours through the building and otherwise be present if something happens, watch the cameras if necessary.
It is a retail company so not a bank or co.
He says the nights are fine, he has his peace and quiet, no employees are nervous, no customers etc. Etc., payment is good, but if you have 7 nights in a row it can quickly get boring at 9.5 hours per night.
Do you have any suggestions what to do?
The boss says that when the tours are over, he should go to sleep or watch TV, but this is quite boring in the long run.
Netflix and the like goes of course, but not 7 days 5 hours a day.
Reading a book cool thing but not good after 20 books either.
Sleeping is stupid because you can only sleep a few hours and he says that is not possible, he has to sleep through 8 hours.
He said he wanted to earn something on the side. He said he wants to trade but he has no idea about it.
I made him the suggestion of a business that deals with online marketing or affiliate or eBay or something that he can do next to.
Do you have any ideas?
Why is reading no longer good after the 20th book? He should get a library card and then read it. The literature is so diverse and educates.
He gets tired of it. So it's nothing. I'm not a fan of it either, but everyone has their own
