Do you feel the same way during quarantine?

Hi
13

My name is Aylin & I'm 13 years old.

I'm slowly breaking down, thanks to the exit restriction. I'm now at home continuously for about 4 weeks (before the exit restriction, I had 2 weeks of vacation & only went out once during the vacation).

I have a lot of friends with whom I can theoretically video chat, but I really don't feel like it. Without school my everyday life is completely mixed up. I'm just lying in bed and I'm on Tik Tok, Netflix or Instagram. It is difficult for me to breathe because I'm completely psychologically bad. The only thing that makes me happy is eating pineapple & meanwhile, Germany's Next Top Model ". I'm completely at the end & I ask myself every day if I shouldn't kill myself. Today I was close to it. And if you write now, Do your homework when you're bored, "I'm done with almost everything. I can't do the rest at the moment because I can't get out of bed & certainly can't work concentrated or can make an effort. I don't want to drown in my self-pity, but I can't get out of there & this exit restriction makes it worse.

But somehow I have to deal with it. The exit restriction serves our health. Health is a priority. I don't want to endanger life & go out just because I'm dying of loneliness (which was before the exit restriction, but I could still see school & daylight)

Are you feeling the same way?

Unfortunately, this is a development that I observe more and more frequently and feared in advance, because precisely the fact that things that are no longer allowed to be left out are known to trigger depressive symptoms.

I would say the key is to (responsibly) exhaust what is currently allowed. I live in Berlin, it is e.g. Allowed to go for a walk with another person, it is allowed to visit elderly or people with restrictions, it is allowed to visit his partner. Read the rules from your state carefully and get creative what you can do. Could you e.g. Formally get together with someone?

In any case, I would recommend that you have a routine that you go out of every day, preferably in daylight. Sport would be perfect! Running or cycling, or at least taking a walk. And maybe already plan with the others what you will do after this time.

Unfortunately I can't think of more, unfortunately many are left behind. But you still have some leeway!

Get well.

Aylin, that it is not easy to structure everyday life at your age.

But you can go outside and you can do that with one person!

So do that for your mental health too.

Either you go round the block or you ride a bike or you meet a friend (is allowed).

If you get on with your friends, tell them that too. They are responsible for you.

There's no curfew here, there's an exit restriction or contact ban.

You shouldn't complain.
Your only problem is sitting in your house for a few weeks.
Other people are tortured, starved, have terrible diseases, and the reason you want to kill yourself is because you are a bit at home.
But no, you clearly suffer more.
If it's so bad, go for a walk.
You can also.
Or left something. Write something. Work on a topic, meditate, watch your plants (if you have any) watch them grow.
Find yourself.

Turn off your cell phone or throw it out the window and soon you will be better, I suspect.
You are afraid of yourself, many feel that way, and you are a whine, and that is why you can't stand it without being distracted with yourself.
I have had no friends for many years, but I enjoy every second of this corona break.
It's quiet on the streets, it's quiet. I hear myself, I deal with things that interest me, I read, I smoke some grass again at some point.
It is nice.

Aha, so it's not Corona

The only thing that makes me happy is eating pineapple & meanwhile, Germany's Next Top Model ".

also somehow indicates anorexia

Then you are depressed, but that's not because of Corona itself! There are enough opportunities to deal with it

You can go for a walk or shop. Where is the problem?

Hi

Can't get up from bed

Li

Don't have a drive. I know that from my depression. How old are you?

Hi

I actually eat a balanced diet, but I don't use sweets or sweet drinks. I drink 3 liters of water a day & eat an avocado, a pineapple & several mandarins a day. Yes, I'm slightly underweight, but at that time (when I was 11) I ate two bars of chocolate a day + 3 meals a day & was still underweight.

Hi

Can you talk to your mom about your problems?

Hi

No, she won't take me seriously.

Ke

That sucks if parents don't take you seriously. Try to talk to her anyway
