Amazon Fire TV Stick or Apple TV?

I once made some smart additions to the TV because I have a SmartTv, but it no longer supports YouTube and the Netflix version is out of date. In addition, I would generally like to have more connection between my cell phone and the TV, which is currently not possible because I own a Samsung TV, but I have an iPhone.

Then I became aware of the Fire TV Stick and Apple TV.
What was of course immediately clear was the price difference, which is particularly huge due to the current offers of Amazon HD Stick for 20 and 4K Stick for 30 euro.

Still my question, what do I have more and especially what advantages, also in connection with the fact that I use an Apple cell phone?

What would you recommend me and which version / generation.

I'm really grateful for a quick answer!

So I, as an Amazon fire tv user, can definitely recommend this to you (but it really only pays off if you also have a prime subscription). I'm not familiar with the Apple TVs but I think that this might be better because you think I can connect your iPhone with it. Unfortunately, I can't say what it looks like on Amazon when connecting an iPhone.

If you should choose the Fire TV, I would just take the 4K stick.

Hope I could help a little.

So I actually have a Prime subscription, what are the advantages of having one.

Does the 4K stick have other advantages beyond its resolution, because my TV only receives HD anyway.

I've got one more question:

Can you mirror your smartphone on the TV and look at photos and videos from your gallery?

You can also install YouTube?

So with the Amazon Fire Tv Stick you need a subscription to watch many films and series for free. Of course not all of them but there's already a large selection. How it is with the subscription to the Apple TV, no idea.

To my knowledge, the 4K stick now has no further advantages. I only thought that if you get a 4K TV you already have a stick that also supports 4K. But I haven't seen a 4K picture yet, so I can't say whether the picture quality is really that much better.

So I can also connect my smartphone to the Fire Tv or to the Smart TV. But since I use an Android phone, I can't say whether it works so well with iPhones. Because I know how difficult it is sometimes to connect an iPhone to something that does not come from Apple😊.

Yes, YouTube can also be installed, and you can then stream YouTube to your TV from your mobile phone. This should also work with iPhones.

Hope I could help and I'm happy to answer any questions.

Well, yes, because subscriptions are important, it's clear, but you also need that with Apple TV.

How does this connection work with the TV / Fire Tv Stick? Is it an app, bluetooth or how does it work?

Me

If you are an Amazon Prime customer → FireTV definitely

If you are not an Amazon Prime customer → FireTV nonetheless

I think the TV is about Bluetooth. With the Fire Tv stick you can download an app with which you can connect your mobile phone to the stick. I don't know which this is.
