Is Netflix shooting itself in the leg with it?

Everybody knows it. If you have a Netflix Word account, of course, you have diligently passed on the password so that you split into the costs.
This is exactly what Netflix would like to do soon, similar to how Spotify pulled it off. I would like to ask you what you think of it.

I don't think so much because I strongly suspect that many users are not willing to pay for the individual subscription, especially because the prices are also raised regularly. For me, the ban on account sharing means that there's no attraction whatsoever. I'm the account holder, but in that case I would leave Netflix completely and possibly switch to Apple TV + or Disney Plus. So, personally, I assume that Netflix may be able to earn more money with it because many will stick to the subscription, but because fewer users are ultimately watching, a lot of watch time is certainly lost. What would you do?

It is not too much to ask to pay 10 euro per month for unlimited films and series. I think that Netflix is absolutely justified.

I share it with my cousin who doesn't live in the same household but… My goodness. It's not like giving the password to everyone. For me, that would just be a reason to give up on Netflix. They're taking out more and more good films and series anyway. Netflix has had better times too😂

I think the monthly fees in the ancillary costs for cable TV are high enough, that's why I don't use "PayTV". Occasionally there are free SaveTV subscriptions in the PC magazines for a few weeks, then I record films that I would like to see. SaveTV will cut out the advertising, that's enough for me.

I wouldn't mind paying for it myself that much. There should still be a family discount or the like, but I don't think that you would lose so many users.

I still like to pay my subscription individually. With so many great series and films, I think the price is only fair. If you calculate that down to a day, that's a minimal price for a great selection. : *
