Do you have to buy every audiobook individually at Audible or is it like with Netflix that you can really listen to everything Audible has to offer for a monthly subscription?

As far as I know, it depends on the subscription.
So there's one where you pay 9 euro a month and can only listen to one audio book a month. In return, you will have this audio book in your library forever and can listen to it as often as you want (believe that this will remain with you should you cancel your subscription, but I'm not sure about that). The period of this subscription can be selected and extended.
Unfortunately, I have no idea about other subscriptions. But I mean from the Audible advertisement that there's also a subscription where you can listen to as many audiobooks as you want per month, but I don't know how much that costs.
What you can also do is test the app. If I remember correctly, there's no time limit for you but the framework of three audio books that you can listen to for free.
