I got a second monitor for my gaming PC to play on one and watch Twitch, Youtube or Netflix on the other. Unfortunately, this does not really work, the resolution of the video is bad and jerky, and the game on the other monitor sometimes does not start and when it is running, then it is very slow. I did not really have this problem before and wanted to ask if it is due to my 8 GB of RAM. Do I need a better one or is it something else?
Puhh believe it is because of your graphics card that it just does not pack and your ram to 16 gb upgrade would not hurt synonymous but that it is s.der graka
Sounds more like a too weak graphics card or processor… Where did you connect the second screen… Maybe this also runs on the built-in processor GPU and you still need the driver to…
If you have an external and an integrated graphics card, you can set in the settings of the external graphics card that this is used only for gambling. So you can run both graphics cards in parallel (assuming you have an output that outputs only the signal of the internal or external graphics card). It worked for me too. If you do not have either a bad graphics card or too little RAM.
I have everything connected to the PC, the new PC is connected with display port, I have an i5 processor and a Nvidia 970 graffiti card.
The question is rather stick your screens synonymous s.dem graphics card or one of the two maybe on the motherboard:-)
I think synonymous to upgrade the RAM to 16gb would be a good decision, is a nvidia gforce 970 graphics card too weak?
I doubt it's on the graffiti card, I have an Nvidia Gforce 970 and I always thought that if the graphics card is too bad, then the resolution is just bad
Well you have to see it this way: The processor has to process requests and sends them to the graphics card and if the graphics card is too slow, the processor can process its requests less quickly, because he has to wait for the answers from the graphics card. That's why I think it's either VRAM or RAM.
