I need a notebook for university, which I would then use for chores, writing programs, zoom meetings and sometimes for watching Netflix. I came across the Notebook Swift 1 from Acer, which is available with 4GB RAM and 8GB RAM, however, I'm not familiar with notebooks and therefore I neither know whether the notebook is generally good and suitable for my purposes, nor whether I have 4 or need 8GB RAM. I'll probably just save documents on it and load Word on it.
Can someone help me please? I would appreciate other notebook suggestions up to 500 euro.
Would take the Acer Swift 3. The Swift 1 is also sufficient.

For your standards, I would take 8 GB.
My laptop has 4 GB of RAM, that's enough for university. However, I would recommend the 8 GB version to you, so you are on the safe side (the extra charge for this should be reasonable).
