For about a year now, I've been feeling totally lacking and lost. I'm with a psychologist right now because I've been diagnosed with depression. In the meantime I have made a lot of progress and now I know roughly what is one of the biggest reasons for my illness: my cell phone consumption.
I'm on the cell phone for about 8 hours a day because I simply don't know what else to do. I mostly just look at senseless stuff I'm actually bored with, or compare myself to others. I keep looking at the prehistoric times and hope that the day will pass quickly. I used to like to paint, but now I get bored after a few minutes and I keep looking at my watch.
What can I do without Netflix / TV / cell phone, etc?
In any case, you should try to do something where you don't need electronics.
The best thing to do is simply try new things or try painting again. You may find interest in it again. You can have a look in your area what there are for leisure activities. I'm sure many of your age are doing this, so maybe you could ask a couple of friends if you want to try something new together if they have similar problems as you do.
Go out the door and go on adventures. It's summer, enjoy the time
Difficult, there's a lot of other things you could do, it shouldn't be because of that. But if you have the feeling that you might miss something, you will always use your cell phone. Or it is more relaxed to lie, it is not strenuous and does not break you. You only need to lie down and dive into other worlds, even better if nobody is bothered by it. However, it restricts you in life and ultimately does not make you happy, since you actually want to do something different. It is then more convenient to do nothing and just dream about doing something different.
You can make a weekly schedule with tasks on it. Like cleaning, cooking, shopping, cooking, sports and what you can think of to fill the week. You would then have to stick to the plan and so that it is not like a punishment, you can install an hour every day, then every second to reduce it.
Most people who think they are extremely bored have nothing to do. A student can extremely easily organize their day without being bored for a minute. An adult can do and do boredom from 6:00 a.m. To 11:00 p.m. Without a single minute.
Occupy yourself: read, learn, walk, run, meet people, listen to music, go shopping, do sports, change your diet with medical help.
And keep your hands off the stupid cell phone! Blow away the apps that eat up your precious lifetime! Find yourself a support group for binge cell phone users!
Get out of your house and cultivate your friendships!
Behind psychological problems there's often a disturbed biochemistry in the brain, whereby stress, e.g. Play an important role due to pressure to perform, excessive demands or emotionally stressful situations. Lack of nutrients is another factor that should not be underestimated, which causes the brain metabolism to become out of balance.
Mental disorders and depression can be found e.g. Behind iron magnesium and vitamin D. Just as important is the vitamin B complex with folic acid, these nutrients are often missing.
B vitamins for nerves, blood lipid levels and vitality
The B vitamins are indispensable for all phases and forms of energy production in the metabolism.
Every single cell is dependent on the presence of sufficient B vitamins.
At the same time, they have a positive effect on mood and concentration and strengthen the nerves.
