Watch streams CPU or GPU performance?

When watching video streams on Netflix or YouTube, what performance is critical? That of the GPU or that of the CPU?

So GPU acceleration uses the GPU. For decoding and displaying.

But that's not much.

Depends on. If you have connected your monitor to the graphics card, then the graphics card is crucial.

And if you've connected it to the IGPU, then stop the CPU
