Have the following problem
The problem suddenly crops up, and no matter if I'm playing, watching Netflix movies, even in idle, it feels like it crashes. The screen just turns black, but the system is still running. I did a CPU and GPU stress test and it worked fine.
Has anyone ever had the problem and knows a solution or knows what it could be?
My system
Maiboard: Gigabyte Aorus Pro [Rev1.0] (Most recent bios - already on standart)
CPU: Ryzen 5 2400G (not overclocked)
GPU: AMD RADEON RX580 (not overclocked)
CPU cooler: GAMMAXX L120 (AIO water cooling)
Power supply: EVGA 550 Watt B3
(be quiet! Pure Power 11 CM 400W ATX24)
HDD: Seageat 1TB
RAN: G.Skill DIMM 16GB DDR4-2666 Kit (2x8GB)
How the system is still running? Suppose you are playing a game are you still listening to the game during the black screen?
For a while yes, then not anymore. GPU and CPU fans continue to work
It somehow sounds like your PSU is too weak to properly and decently power the PC.
Okay thanks. I already thought so too.
With ner 500 watts you are doing well.
The configuration sounds reasonable, would possibly take a slightly stronger power supply, but be quiet! These things can deliver reliable power far beyond the specification, so that should not be a problem. Try every component, or any you can exchange and reinstall the drivers!
Got one, still happens, can it be synonymous s.der graphics card?
A defective graphics card? When it comes to it could be the motherboard. Strange the whole. Sorry for my misinformation.
Are you by chance still in warranty at Mainbord / Graka? Just exchange them then.
