Stream Discord Netflix?

A friend of mine sometimes streams films on discord from Netflix all of those who are watching (2-4) also have a Netflix account but can anything legally happen to him? Is that still a private copy?

How that? As long as he does it privately and not commercially, then it works. For example, you can't stream spotfiy songs on discord because it will stop your spotfiy.
