Download the movie or not?

I want to watch a movie on Netflix, the only problem is that my Wi-Fi does not work.

You can download movies on Netflix, but where do I use less data? If I download it now (500mb) or just watch it?

Download, if a connection aborted or so there can be everything that is loaded again when streaming

The best is, if you are looking for a public and free Wi-Fi hotspot and download the movies or series there. The hotspot should be unlimited in volume. The download will probably take.

In Hamburg, (almost) every metro stop would have a WLAN hotspot.

Actually, a download or stream makes no difference. When downloading you always have the same quality and the specified size.

When streaming, the quality and volume might fluctuate if faster or slower internet is available. As already mentioned, streaming at pauses might consume a bit more data volume. When streaming, always a part is preloaded (buffer) and if you or an error stops playback, the preloaded part could be discarded. This will be downloaded again if it is not recycled.

Despite data volume, I would prefer a download. Then you can watch it again or easily repeat a part.
