I bought a Phillips SmartTV for around 700 euro this summer.
After a few weeks I noticed that the software (no Android, but some from Philipps himself) is quite slow. But it was still bearable. In the meantime, however, the TV no longer reacts at times, for example you press louder and it only works 10 seconds later. In the middle of a Netflix movie, for example the TV is hanging. We didn't install any apps or anything from the start, so it can't be the memory. Several times it was reset but without result.
I have now found the receipt from Saturn and wanted to ask whether I can only exchange it or whether I can get the money back?
Bring them there and ask. I would definitely complain. Years ago I had something similar with a Philips TV. Fortunately, it was leased. Was a serial mistake.
Thanks, I have to wait until next year anyway. The shops are all closed.

Exchange or return generally not, within the warranty the dealer has the right to make improvements, but after 6 months the customer must prove that the defect was already present at the time of purchase, if he can't, the dealer can refuse the warranty
After the first six months to two years after delivery of the purchased item: Here the buyer must prove that there was a defect from the start.
By the way, if both agree that the deficiency existed from the start, no evidence is needed. In the event of defects, you should definitely request repairs or a new delivery first. For this we provide a https://www.verbraucherzentrale.de/sites/default/files/migration_files/media45581A.pdf.
