Required bandwidth for HD streaming?

I currently have an average speed between 8 and 14 Mbps. No idea what that really means, but as a layman, I can only say: the speed is enough to be able to stream via Prime or Netflix HD movies, even on 2 different devices 2 different movies.

Now someone said, "my Internet" would be much too slow, 100Mbit / s would be standard. I do not know the difference between the terms "Mbps" and "MBit / s" (it may be the same), so I can't compare. All I know is that I do not need anything faster

Co

Mbps> megabits per second. Megabit = 1000,000 bits.

MBit / s is exactly the same

Si

MB / s stands for megabytes per second.
Mbps or Mbps are the same and stand for megabits per second.

One byte is eight bits.

In computer science one expects data transmissions rather with the latter, therefore there are two spellings to minimize the confusion.

Your 10 Mbps Internet is perfect for videos or movies. You do not need to worry about that. Even online games are possible without any problems.

Now you know the difference. 100 Mbps or even more are not standard. At least not in Germany.

Hi, ws one needs at least I do not know. But I can with my fiber optic connection. Watch HD on TV, PC, laptop at the same time.

This is not a problem.

Fiber to the house. Is standard in Denmark. Also has its reason. The state finances everything. In Germany, the telecom.

All letters are processed 100% over the net. (Has nothing to do with email directly. (Nem ID, googling is the magic word.)

Germany is miles away.

In Germany, a fast network is only important for playing.

Thanks for the link.

Or

Nem ID also seems to have serious security issues. At least the Wikipedia article to judge.

I do not know if it was this article. You should read Nem ID once. Doubly secure for years. Banks in Germany are just beginning to do so.

As long as you do not have this system… Change password regularly. And cleverly write down. Analog on paper. Never save on the PC.
