I've just moved and have to get an internal package and would have found the following:
Option A: 21 euro / month
Down: 75MBit / s min: 18.75
Up: 15 Mbit / s min: 3.8
Option B: 28 euro / month
Down: 250MBit / s min: 35
Up: 50 Mbit / s min: 7
My question - do I need the larger bandwidth? Or do I buy them unnecessarily? Or do I have to be sure because the minimum bandwidth at A is very low.
I'm currently alone in the apartment. Some work from home, watch Netflix in the evening or sometimes play something on Steam (but rather alone - but possibly also larger games online with friends in the future).
What would you advise me?
With a difference of 7 euro, I wouldn't think twice. B.
That's the way it is
It may sound redundant, but what you need depends on your needs. Especially when you are doing several things in parallel, more bandwidth always makes sense. And let's be honest: tripling the performance for just 7 euro more - do you have to think about it?
If both is DSL then personally I would not consider and use A. For one person, 18Mbit alone is more than sufficient. You can also do home office and Netflix in parallel. Only when you download something will you notice a difference
More than 3 times the speed for 7 euro? What are you thinking about xD
