Do you have to watch the films with Hannibal Lecter beforehand?

Ok, I know that there are "Hannibal" films in the series on Netflix and you can also find the chronological order on the Internet, but my question is whether you have to watch all of this or can you just watch the series?

As an outspoken fan of Hannibal Lecter, I don't think much of series. For a better understanding of the connections, you should watch all 4 full and very worth seeing films in this order:

Hannibal Rising - How it all began
Red Dragon
The silence of the Lambs
Hannibal
