Where to watch movies

I'm 13 and I wanted to ask where to watch films. I have Netflix but my father stopped after watching a series from 16 that I can no longer watch films up to FSK 12. He password-protected the accounts of my mother and himself so that I can't look at things that are not for my age. We also have Amazon Prime and Sky there the same thing with a password and so on and on Disney + whatever we have there are not really exciting things. There isn't a huge selection on Apple TV + either. Now to my problem. I like to watch horror films. And that's why I watched something from 16 on Netflix. I didn't find it really scary, it was exciting but well. My sister told me about it back then. Although she said to me herself at the time, just watch it, Dad doesn't notice it anyway. I found it a bit unfair. My father also has a lot of Blu-rays in general and, like me, is a real film nerd. But he doesn't have that many horror films because he doesn't care that much. But I already. I like to just shudder. I don't know if anyone can understand or understand me, but I just want to watch horror films and I think I do quite a few or have done that at my age. How do you have or do you do it? Sometimes I would really like my father not to know his way around and not be so strict in that regard. Sometimes he comes to me and says I have a film that is 16+ that we can watch, but the film is from 1965 or something. He would be from 12 or 6 today. Talking to him doesn't really help. I tried everything. And yes there's probably a solution and that is wait until I'm 18. But who wants that?

Just don't look.

If a film is only released from 16, then someone has thought something…

I think you should just accept that. Your father has legal guardianship, he can decide that and he will think of something. You can also watch creepy films from 12, you will definitely find something on the Internet. And then just wait until you get a little older. Your father definitely only has your best in mind.

One suggestion: wait a while and when you are a little older, maybe 14/15, talk to your father again. My parents allowed me to watch some films from the age of 16 if they knew them themselves or if they had read through the parents' guide beforehand. Perhaps you can also suggest that you watch older horror films, as the age rating is much higher than it is today. Or see when the original movie was released (this is sometimes lower) and ask your father if that's negotiable.

But in the end it is the decision of the legal guardian. And most of the time you thought something about approving a film from 16.

A film is released from a certain age for a reason.

But if the parents say it's ok if you watch this film early then everything is ok.

If (as in your case) this doesn't happen, you just have to come to terms with it.
Normally I would still say, just argue well, but you already say from the start that there's no point…

But nobody complies with the age limit, or can you imagine that a 17-year-old who will be 16 one day will want to watch a film from 18, but refrain from doing it because he is only 17

Ma

Do you get younger when it's your birthday🤔

I saw really bad things from the age of 11 because I had a "cool" uncle. Z.T. Also movies that ended up on the index and I wish I hadn't.

Your father is right. I saw "faces of death", that was "hip" back then. Really bad. However, it is not on the index.

I mean 18
