German Netflix in other countries?

As my question suggests, I would like to know whether I can watch German Netflix abroad.

I live in Norway and at least wanted to try the trial month. However, I always end up only on the Norwegian side and the language selection only includes Norwegian and English. Watching films and series in the language is not necessarily the thing, but I need at least a German subtitle.

So the question is. Can I initially register normally and then switch it to German afterwards or during that time or is there at least a function with which I can set subtitles?

The VPN tells the pc or cell phone whatever that you live in another country
