What is the difference between German and German 5.1?

If you look at Netflix movies and TV shows, then you can "audio" between German and German 5.1. Decide. What is the difference? Or between German (original) and German?

5.1 indicates the arrangement of the speakers for surround sound. (So I think 1 subwoofer and 5 satellites).

German 5.1 is therefore optimized for surround sound systems and German alone for stereo sound (headphones, 2-speaker).

5.1 means 5 speakers and a bassbox.

because the sound is better distributed in the room when you hear about a system.
