How do you get Netflix reels for series in Germany?

I've been wondering for some time how actors get their big roles. Often, the actors were previously unknown and had little or no roles in any movies / series.

Since Netflix lately also German series in Brandenburg and co. Lets turn, I wonder now how to get to such roles.

Netflix commissions them. They do not do it themselves. Look at the production companies of the last series.

About agencies.

I do not know all that well, but does not it matter which agency you sign up for, or are there only certain agencies working with Netflix?

You sign up with an agency that provide extras. Everything else will sort itself out. If you are lucky, you will eventually get a mini role.

And it does not matter which agency you contact. Netflix will most likely take the agency that has the appropriate extras they need.
