I just watched Baby on Netflix and Damiano is moving into his first apartment and I'm fascinated
It would be a dream of mine to live in such an apartment as a student, for example. However, I've never seen apartments like this before. Could one live in such an apartment or is there anything like that in Germany?

I have already partially answered. As I said, it was built as an office building in 1997 and was in a dilapidated state. One part was rented to a young woman with a child who did not pay rent or operating costs. You need a lot of energy and stamina to pull off something like that.

That was a foreclosure auction. The purchase price was quite cheap. Then there was the renovation of the building, the renovation of a listed retaining wall and the renewal of the outdoor facilities. The fee counter is now at approx. 360,000 euro. That is still not overpriced for 274 m² and I had the money. I didn't have to ask anyone.
