Why are there many movies and series on Netflix not in Austria, but in Germany already?

I hope you all are fine.

For a long time it annoys me very much that many series that I would like to watch or continue, in the Austrian Netflix are simply not available.

For example, there's only one season of American Horror Story, but in Germany it's 7 or 8.

Maybe someone knows more?

Netflix knows more about their customers' viewing habits and preferences than any other broadcaster or streaming channel. Since content costs money, it weighs exactly what people want to see.
