I have a problem; yesterday I started watching "Breaking Bad" on Netflix for the first time, but the low resolution and the many pixels bothers me. It can't be because of the TV because it plays 4k films flawlessly. It can't be because of the age of the series either, as older series such as Lost or Twin Peaks look really good. What can be the reason or is it normal?
Some series are simply not that good in terms of image quality. If I remember correctly, the quality of The Walking Dead on Amazon Prime is also rather mediocre. I think the quality wasn't that good during production or that certain effects were used, such as thick film grain, which has a negative effect on the sharpness.
Would be my guess.
