I have had the problem for the last few days that my iphone and ipad have very slow internet. Up until now I only had it with the iPad, for example I could never look at netflix because it just messed around too much.
The Wi-Fi still works great on my Huawei cellphone. Does that have anything to do with iOS or is it just me? And what can I do about it?

That's such a stupid reason.
Both Android devices and iOS devices are equipped with a WLAN module.
Turn everything off… But turn it off properly, not just standby, also the router, then turn it on again… Yesterday I was with a lady just to do that, then it worked again.
Times would be interesting to know what you have for a router. I could imagine that a protocol error may be responsible.
best of all, all devices. So take the iphone, ipad and router completely off the network for a few minutes and restart.
I can't guarantee that things will get better afterwards, but there's a real chance and it is a reasonable expense.
