VPN works, but Netflix still in Germany?

And I wanted to watch Harry Potter with Netflix today. Unfortunately, this does not exist in Germany, which is why I signed up through a VPN (VyprVPN). On whatismyip and co, it also shows Istanbul, but Netflix still recognizes that I'm in Germany. I tried two different networks and a PC or Android. Other VPN services didn't work either. Why is that?

I suspect that Netflix knows in which country you created the account and therefore shows Germany. But you could try to delete cookies and cache.

I suspect an IPv6 leak, if https://ipv6-test.com says "Supported" under "IPv6", then you would have to cut the IPv6 connection.

I suspect this is due to your VPN service. I've never experienced that with PureVPN. Get a better VPN!
