I'm just a little bit desperate, I like to watch videos (YouTube, Netflix, etc.), but I think my ipad does not render the videos in 1080p, which would be technically and internet wise possible, but the quality on YouTube only up to 720p. What do I have to do to change that? I watch YouTube on the internet, Netflix via app and other stuff on the internet.
More than 720p is feasible on iOS only with the official Youtube app. Which app do you use for playback?
Is not on you or the iPad, etc. But on the creator itself.
Safari
This is 720p maximum. That's because Youtube delivers their videos from 1080p.
I picked out 1080p videos on YouTube…
So I have to use the app? I do not really like that, because then the app always opens, as soon as I click on a video in Safari
Yes, for 1080p and more, the YT app on iOS is required.
:/ OK thank you
Then I can't help._.
Use the YouTube app from the spp store. There's no other way!
