Stream old programs?

Is there such a thing as Netflix for German television, where you can watch all the old series and comedy shows like Genial next to it, Frei Schnauze, RTL Saturday night, TV Kaiser, caretaker Krause, 7 days, 7 heads and so on?

I know that RTLplus, YouTV and TVNow exist. But these seem to be more of a service that offers you the chance to watch certain episodes for a while if you miss them on regular TV.

But I would like to see everything without time pressure and chronological. I do not understand why they still stick to these Tv times instead of offering a simple streaming service, as we know it today. But maybe I just misunderstood something.

No, there's no such thing. Only the media libraries of each station with a small selection.

Well, depends on who this is / was produced. That is very different.

Caretaker Krause was temporarily on Maxdome and Amazon Prime Video, meanwhile I do not believe anymore (can change anytime). The Axel series with Axel Stein is still available on Amazon Prime Video.

Are all RTL or Sat1 / Pro7 productions. There are 2 respective streaming services that provide the whole archive, yes actually obvious.

Actually yes. Pro7 / Sat1 has now understood with the service Joyn synonymous and but only now brought out. Before, their service was Maxdome, where in some cases old things were to be found. A complete archive offers neither, probably because they still earn their money with the people who, for whatever reason, still look at linear television advertising in 2019.
