So I don't really know what type of series I particularly like, maybe because I couldn't explain the types other than comedy and action. In any case, I always have problems finding a series that I like. So far I've loved shows like "Pretty Little Liars" and "Alias Grace". "Ratched" was suggested to me, but I didn't like the show at all. If I had to describe my style I would say something like exciting to horror but not through the whole series. I also found "Riverdale" and "The Vampire Diaries" pretty boring. Do you have any ideas which series I might like? It would be best if the series is also available on Netflix.

The Vampire Diaries is actually not boring at all.
Unfortunately, the first season is actually boring and not on the same level as the other seasons. Season 2 is when it really starts and it gets better from season to season.
If you've only seen the first few episodes, I recommend sticking with it. That is still to come. Unfortunately, you can't skip the first season either, because otherwise you won't understand certain things.
What else is very good and goes in this direction is Lucifer, Orphan Black and Revenge.
