or look on youtube to see if the scene you need is there

The recording is digitally blocked to protect the rights holders of the series or film.
The so-called analog gap remains. If Netflix allows playback on VGA monitors, you could hang a recording device between them, if there's such a device. Since VGA runs analog, Netflix and / or the technology used (HDCP) can't recognize any recording device.
As a last option, you could film the picture from the monitor and get such a picture.
A copy is permitted for private use if no effective copy protection is circumvented. That is not the case with the proposals.
You can also cut an edit from it, but uploading it is not legal.
