Cell phone battery at 100% for hours?

I had my mobile phone charged and when it was 100% I unplugged and used it normally (snap, Whatsap, netflix). About 3 hours later I noticed that it is still 100% (I also switched it off and on several times). When I looked in the settings, it said that it could be used for another 43 hours until my cell phone went empty, but that can't be at all.

Is my cell phone broken or what is wrong with someone?
