I have a standard Netflix subscription.
I have set up a children's profile for my child.
How do I make sure that my child only has access to their profile on their tablet and can't click on my profile? I myself use the profile on the TV.
The only way would be for you to click on the kids profile before the kids get the tablet in their hands.
As far as I know, that does not work. You have to give the adult profiles a permanent password if you do not want children to use it.
But I thought you can only assign password across account? How can I set a separate password?
And the child could not change the profile later?
Yes, it could.
Explaining to the child: that's my account, that's yours.
my son just turned 6 years old. The may look for about 1 year sometimes from time to netflix. We have 5 profiles, for each family member. He never got the idea to go on our profile and to look at it, because I told him. The only thing he likes is changing our profile pictures to annoy us
Not at all.
Create a child protection password on your account overview page at password etc
The only thing he likes is change our profile pictures to annoy us
I know that 😂
NOTE: Profiles are
not protected by a password. As a parent or guardian, your job is to make sure your child always uses the right profile.
You can't provide a profile with a password.
That does not exist on Netflix. The profiles can't be provided with a password.
At Amazon, that works, with PIN.
If you find it in Settings, you can only share certain videos with your child, which is what netflix thought through
But Netflix says something else. See my answer with Netflix Link.
With Netflix, you can only choose the age rating. Not more. No password
