Here is my list of sad K-dramas, which of them are on Netflix you would have to see for yourself. I'm not that much of a fan of the sad drama myself, but sometimes you accidentally come across it or the stories are just great anyway, so there are sure to be many more.

Moon Lovers: Scarlett Heart
I'm sorry, I love you
Autum Tale
Werewolf Boy
49 days
A thousand days promise
Your Lie in April (this could also be J-Movie, I'm currently unsure)
Uncontrollably fund
Winter sonata
Bridal mask
Miracle in Cell no7
Stairway to heaven
Empress Ki
When the devil calls your name
Bad guy

Do you know 'My drama list'? All Asia series and films are listed here. It is particularly helpful that they are rated by the community, which gives a very good impression of which drama / film is worthwhile. You can sort by keywords, but it's a bit cumbersome. Find a drama that you like best, that has tags that you can click to get more similar ones. "Sad ending" is hidden as a tag because it is a spoiler, but if you click on the list function, you will also see such tags.

Love alarm

Love Alarm was a big disappointment and I would not recommend watching it, but there's probably a second season planned… Therefore I would currently consider it a shameless Netflix strategy to minimize your risk by trying out the format and the series just doesn't finish. Whether it ends sadly is still open, but I hate strategic cliff hangers like this from the bottom of my heart.

Overall, I have decided to avoid the Netflix own drama series until further notice. I observe with concern that one of the greatest features of the Asia series is being softened: completed stories. Maybe I haven't quite gotten over the Sense8 trauma yet, but "Memories of Alhambra" was also similar. By simply making a half-baked "end" to keep the opportunity open to make money with second seasons, which may not come at all, is more than annoying. * Sorry, I had to vent my anger.
