From Blue Ray Player HDMI to Tv with Usb?

I have an old TV without Hdmi connection, only with USB and would like to watch Netflix with a Bluray player with HDMI on the TV. Does it work with an adapter?

You will hardly be able to convert the USB connection on the television to a pure audio and video input or that of the Blu-ray player to a pure audio and video output.

I'm assuming that the television has other video and audio inputs (e.g. Scart connection). There are special converters for this, costs from around 30 euro
