Watching Death Note Movies?

I had two questions (it's about the death note films)

I wouldn't watch it because I think the films have been poorly adapted in my opinion. For example, the light from the Netflix film voluntarily shows a girl his Death Note, which he would never do in anime. (I think it wasn't Misa)
