Boku no Hero Academia at Amazon Prime?

I have only been a member of Amazon Prime for almost 2 months and the question arises why Amazon Prime does not offer all series and especially animes. It is clear that series and anime made e.g. By Netflix will never appear there. But why not, for example, My Hero Academia / Boku no Hero Academia or One Punch Man and many more. I ask comfortably because My Hero Academia is so hype and it is still not offered. And e.g. Vinland Saga has only been released this year and is not already offered on Prime and my hero academia although it has been in anime form since 2016.

Because there are many different streaming services. Including those that focus specifically on anime. My Hero Academia and OPM are e.g. See it on Anime on Demand.

pa

Because not all streaming services can buy all licenses. On the one hand because of the budget, on the other hand because the competition pays more or the licensor has already agreed a deal with another service before Amazon Prime was interested.

Amazon can't just say I want to offer all anime so I do.

Each series that was offered was contractually "bought" by the publishers. The streaming license costs a few thousand euro and is usually valid for one year.

So if you just want to offer all known anime, that's currently 100 pieces x price x years. That is a huge sum for licenses that come together.

Either Amazon is not willing to pay this price or they are trying to get the license and are still in the negotiations,

Or they have not yet dealt with these licenses.
