What anime providers are there and how good is Netflix in this area so there are many good anime on Netflix or should I switch to another platform and do they cost what?

Gi

Netflix has a lot of animes and is, on the whole, totally cool

Netflix is semi-good as an anime provider. Has several good titles, but mostly only the first few seasons. Their announcement and publication policy is also indisputably miserable.

If you're an anime fanatic, Netflix is nice as a bonus but NOT as a main animation provider. There are better alternatives that have more anime. ^^

You can read more here. That illustrates the problem behind Netflix pretty well.

Oh haha I should read the question… Well here you have a few others haha all available for free but they are better if you buy a subscription there.

Netflix has some good exclusive licenses, the rest is only sub-licensed to AnimeOnly streaming services.

Anime on Demand (purely for a fee)
Crunchyroll (mostly free of charge with advertising, certain titles / German synchro / latest episode from the simulcast only with subscription)
Wakanim (some free of charge with advertising, certain titles / latest episode from the simulcast only with subscription)
Amazon Prime / Animax / Aniverse (purely for a fee)
TVNow (a lot free of charge with advertising via the page in the browser)

Yi

Netflix has some anime where most of it is good.

Other legal ways to watch anime:

Free and legal:

Crunchyroll, Netzkino, Prosieben MAXX, TV NOW, Wakanim

Paid and legal:

Amazon Prime Video, Animax, Aniverse (Amazon Prime Video Channel), Anime on Demand, Crunchyroll (Premium), Netflix, Rakuten TV, Steam, TV NOW (Premium, App), Wakanim (Premium)
