I have a problem or it bothers me extremely. I know it is nothing earth-shattering, but what is this property called: My mother is looking for a Netflix series and I recommend many, but then she doesn't take any that I recommended but another one. Of course I know it is her choice and I accept it, but somehow it annoys me extremely because I know how good these are that I have recommended to her. Completely stupid actually that bothers me, but it is so.

Ask her, ask her why you bothered when she doesn't care.
As you say, it's up to you. Maybe she doesn't like your eif. Just talk to her.
You can ask her about it, but I would describe this "characteristic" as my own opinion, maybe you just don't like the series so easily?
Did she ask you for your advice? If not, this example is still harmless. Otherwise it is annoying if she doesn't take note of you. Then it is absent-minded. Talk to her, you didn't mean it badly.
