Book pre-astronautics?

I'm watching the Netflix series "Ancient Aliens" and am baffled about the context! As an old cosmos freak, it absolutely cuts me off the stool! Now to my question: Erich von Däniken has written several well-known books on the subject of pre-astronautics and to deepen my previous knowledge meanwhile, I wanted to ask you, what is there for good beginners books on the subject? Are there other great titles / authors that pick up on the topic very well? Do you have recommendations?
