TV only possible with apps?

I have not had a TV for years and only watch Netflix on my tablet. Still have no interest in "normal" television.

Now I'm considering buying a TV, if possible, but only for Netflix purposes. Do I have to connect the TV to the "normal" connection to use the app? That makes a bigger difference because of the position in the apartment, especially since the connection is firmly positioned. Or is electricity and internet connection sufficient?

If the TV is available via the smart function Netflix, an internet connection is sufficient.

An Internet connection is sufficient for the Smart Tv. With normal TV it is good if it has a USB slot. Get Amazon Firestick, load apps on it & the fun begins. Just watch Netflix, Disney, Youtube, Rakuten Viki, etc.
