Death note on watched only in french?

I wanted to watch death note on watched (because I don't have Netflix and can't afford it) but from episode 20 there's only French as the language (and there are no subtitles) and I can't speak French 😂

therefore someone can help me and tell me whether this is a general mistake or whether it is just me

I would not recommend you to watch series on such providers as it is illegal. But I think that this could be a mistake because Death Note exists in German.
