No station is found?

I'm just setting up my new TV. It's a Denver LDS-3276 (Smart TV with Netflix & YouTube). I have set up Netflix and Youtube so far and then wanted to start the automatic channel search. However, NO SINGLE station is found. I've already tried it a few times, but nothing changes. Does the TV need a receiver? Because actually he should walk without it. What shall I do?
